RTD hosts bus operator career fair March 14

Join RTD for a career fair,Thursday, March 14, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The event is specifically for bus operator candidates interested in full- or part-time opportunities with the agency. For easy access across the Denver metro, RTD is hosting the event at the Crowne Plaza Denver Airport Convention Center, 15500 E 40th Ave., Denver, CO 80239. Training starts as early as April 1. RTD launches new pricing feature on Next Ride

RTD launched a simpler way to purchase fares. Customers can now see the fare price when they use the Trip Planner on Next Ride. Customers can then click Buy a Ticket and complete their fare purchase in the MyRide app. Customers who use the Trip Planner feature on the Next Ride web application but do not yet have the MyRide app installed on their mobile device will be automatically directed to the app store to download it and complete their fare purchase. Section of L Line temporarily suspended for safety improvements

RTD will temporarily suspend L Line light rail service for five days beginning Monday, March 18, and continuing through the end of service on Friday, March 22. During the suspension of services, work crews will make safety improvements along the alignment. L Line customers are encouraged to use Bus Route 43 as an alternative service. Full story.
